DATA PROTECTION NOTICE

This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) in our Privacy Policy sets out the basis which Bio Organicare (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”).

This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes.

Personal data which we may collect from you include your name and identification information such as your NRIC number, contact information such as your address, email address or telephone number, nationality, gender, date of birth, photographs and other audio-visual information, employment and health information. 

We generally rely on personal data provided by you (or your authorised representative). In order to ensure that your personal data is current, complete and accurate, please update us if there are changes to your personal data by informing via email or you may approach Bio Organicare's staffs.


PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY

If you have signed up for our package and services, you acknowledged that you are our customers.

All customers filled in and submit our Consultation Form where customers agrees that their personal information be collected, photographs and videos taken during our service taken of them may be stored and used in accordance with Bio Organicare's Privacy Policy comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA") and may be used by Bio Organicare for marketing, documentation, audit and publicity purposes on print media, digital media and post events.

PROTECTION OF YOUR DATA

Your data will be kept within our organisation, Bio Organicare and only the organisation's management, consultants, website administrators or third party service providers we have engaged are able to see your information. However, only organisation's management, consultants and website administrators that are employees of Bio Organicare have access to your information.

To safeguard your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption and the use of privacy filters to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorised third party service providers only on a need-to-know basis. 

You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

However, we may disclose your personal data where such disclosure is required for performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the products or services requested by you; or to third party service providers we have engaged to perform any of the functions listed in above stated purposes for us. 


WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment on our website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For visitors that submit forms on our website (if any), we also store the personal information you provided in the submitted form(s).

We may retain your data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. Any data received from you will be kept in our system until you request it to be erase, however, your data cannot be erase if your data is obliged to be keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.


WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you are our customers, or have left comments on our website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.

However, you will need to fill in a request to us and we will need to confirm your identity with an identity card with a photo of you, eg. IC, Passport, Student Card.

Please note that this does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose your data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under legal laws. Whilst we respect your decision, do take note that your data cannot be erase if your data is obliged to be keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
